Storm Trooper
While it’s not uncommon for valuable props or jewelry to arrive at photoshoots under armed guard, this was my first experience with a prop so valuable that it required a guard with a chained briefcase. Apparently, the prop had come straight from the Lucas Studios’ vault, and we were strictly forbidden from trying it on. Of course, I couldn’t resist, much to the dismay of the Disney executives. Although incredibly impressive from the outside, the interior was surprisingly basic. It was still essentially a construction helmet. It was truly a thrill to photograph John Boyega holding the actual helmet he wore in the film.
