About Williams + Hirakawa
Mark Williams and Sara Hirakawa make up the photo duo, Williams + Hirakawa.ย They are attracted to the moment in between.ย Examining this leads to an expression and body language untarnished by awareness of the camera. The narrative occurs in this moment and the result yields a mixture of realism and construct.
They met while attending the Rochester Institute of Technology and after graduating, they moved to NY to pursue individual photography careers.ย Over the years, their sensibilities inevitably merged together and they decided to team up after their wedding in 2003.
They currently reside in Los Angeles with their son, Eli.
Printing
