About Julia Johnson
Formerly one half of JUCO, Julia Johnson has established her place in both editorial assignments and mainstream advertising campaigns. Raised by a disco drummer and PanAm flight attendant, you can almost draw a straight line from her upbringing in South Beach, Fl to her distinctive work. Julia studied photography at the San Francisco Art Institute.ย Now working as a solo artist, Juliaโs bold visual style is characterized by bright colors, sophisticated art direction and strong geometric lines. Although she brings her impeccable eye, her sense of humor and heart to every project, collaboration is a vital part of Juliaโs creative process.ย Julia lives in LA and is married to the artist and set designer Dane Johnson. Together, they enjoy tripping out on their toddler Valentine and spending time taking walks around the block.
