About Nikolas Koenig
Nikolas Koenig was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and studied photography at the Academy for Photo Design in Munich. He moved to New York in 1995, and began shooting for numerous magazines including Architectural Digest, Vogue, Conde Nast Traveler, GQ, Harperโs Bazaar, Wallpaper and the New York Times Magazine.ย Nikolas spent those years honing a style of architectural photography that sets him apart from his contemporaries.ย Over the years he has photographed architecture and interiors of many renowned architects and designers, including Daniel Libeskind, Renzo Piano, Tadao Ando, 1100 Architect, David Rockwell, Annabelle Selldorf and Tom Kundig.
